CorelDRAW Tutorial - Align Star (Odd Points of Star or Polygon) to Center a Circle

In this tutorial we will learn tips and trick how to align a star or odd points of star or polygon to center a circle or any shape object.

Pada tutorial kali ini, kita akan belajar tips dan trik bagaimana cara align to center dari sebuah objek bintang (poligon dengan jumlah sudut atau sisi ganjil) pada sebuah lingkaran atau objek lainnya.

Step 1
Create a circle with Ellipse Tool (F7).
Note: Draw (drag) with Ctrl pressed to create a regular ellipse (circle).

Buatlah sebuah lingkaran dengan Ellipse Tool (F7).
Note: Tekan Ctrl saat menggambar agar menjadi lingkaran.

Step 2
Create a star with Star Tool (default number Points or Sides of star is 5).
Note: Draw (drag) with Ctrl pressed to create a regular star.

Buatlah objek bintang dengan Star Tool.
Note: Tekan Ctrl agar menjadi bintang beraturan.

Step 3
Change the number of Points or Sides (the "star" object is selected) to any even number. Eg, 4, 6, 8, etc.

Gantilah jumlah sudut atau sisi (Points or Sides) dari objek bintang tersebut dengan bilangan genap. Misalnya 4, 6, 8, atau lainnyal.

Step 4
Select both of object (circle and star). Then use shortcut C (Align Centers Vertically) then E (Align Centers Horizontally) on keyboard.
Note: Use shortcut P on keyboard to align any object to center of page.

Seleksi kedua objek (lingkaran dan bintang). Kemudian tekan tombol C (Align Centers Vertically) kemudian E (Align Centers Horizontally) pada keyboard.
Note: Gunakan tombol P pada keyboard untuk memposisikan objek apapun ke tengah halaman.

Step 5
Change the number of Points or Sides back to 5 (or any odd number points of star).

Ubah jumlah sudut atau sisi (Points or Sides) menjadi 5 (khususnya bilangan ganjil sesuai judul) atau bilangan lainnya.

ANOTHER SAMPLE

Odd Points of Polygon Shape to Center of Circle
With the same way (steps) like above, for Polygon Shape - Polygon Tool (Y). Change the number of Points or Sides to any even number. Then align them to center with shortcut C (Align Centers Vertically) then E (Align Centers Horizontally) on keyboard.

Untuk objek poligon - Polygon Tool (Y), gunakan cara yang sama seperti langkah- langkah di atas.

Then change the number of Points or Sides to the desired / required / needed number.

Odd Points of Polygon Shape to Center Another shape.

Step 1
Always make the number of Points or Sides with an even number.

Step 2
Create another star or polygon with any even number of Points or Sides.

Step 3
Then align both of object to center with shortcut C (Align Centers Vertically) then E (Align Centers Horizontally) on keyboard.

Step 4
Change the number of Points or Sides (both object) to any number required / needed.

Note :
When rotation needed, change the number of Points or Sides first to any even number. Then rotate it as needed. Change back the number of Points and Sides to needed number.

Jika akan melakukan rotasi / memutar objek bintang / poligon (persatu objek), ubahlah terlebih dahulu jumlah sudut atau sisi (Points or Sides) dari objek tersebut sebelum memutarnya. Setelah itu, barulah mengembalikan jumlah sudut atau sisinya sesuai yang dibutuhkan.

ANOTHER SIMPLEST WAY IS USE THE SNAP TO OBJECT

Step 1
Go to menu View -> Snap To -> Objects or use shortcut Ctrl+Z.

Pilih menu View -> Snap To -> Objects atau gunakan shortcut Ctrl+Z.

Step 2
Select the circle. Then point to center of circle. Make sure the text navigation is "center" then click it.

Pilih objek lingkaran. Kemudian posisikan pointer mouse ke tengah lingkaran sampai teks navigasi bertuliskan"center". Kemudian klik.

Step 3
Drag the circle to the triangle's center of weight until the navigation text of triangle is "center".

Drag lingkaran tersebut ke titik berat dari objek segitiga (tepatnya di titik dengan navigasi teks bertulis "center".

Vice versa steps. Select the triangle on the weight senter then drag it to center of circle.

Bisa juga dilakukan dengan langkah sebaliknya. Yaitu dengan seleksi objek segitiga pada titik beratnya kemudian melakukan drag ke titik tengah lingkaran.

CorelDraw Tutorial - Little Ninja

Step 1
Create an ellipse (F7) for the head.

Step 2
Use Pen tool to draw closed curve like shown below.

Step 3
Copy-Paste the object and Mirror horizontally (Horixontal flip) the copied then Weld both.

Step 4
Select the both object and press C for Align Center Vertically.

Step 5
Create a circle (Ellipse tool - F7) and a triangle (Pen tool) like shown below. Then use Back minus front to make the eye.

Step 6
Copy the eye then arrange it like shown below. Group (Ctrl + G) both of the eyes. After that, select the grouped eyes and the head, then press C for Align Center Vertically.

Step 7
Use Pen tool to create a hand like shown below.

Copy-Paste then Mirror horizontally the hand. Similar like Step 6, group (Ctrl + G) both of hands. Select grouped hand and head, then pres C.

Step 9
Use Pen tool to make the body and leg.

Similar Step 8, Copy-Paste then Mirror horizontally the body-leg. Similar like Step 6, group (Ctrl + G) both of legs. Select grouped body-legs and head, then pres C.

Select grouped hands and grouped body-legs. Then Weld them.

Select the body, then pres Shift + PgDn to order the body to back of layer.

Step 13
Coloring the head. Use Fountain Fill to make it little 3D look.

Step 14
Coloring the eyes.

Use Attributes Eyedropper to copy each color similar used.

Step 16
Use Pen tool to create a curve like shown below.

Step 17
The fill the area with Smart Fill Tool.

Step 18
Increase little size (105% like shown below).

Copy-Paste then Mirror horizontally or repeat the step 18 for next hand.

Step 20
Repeat the step 16-19 for the leg.

Use Attributes Eyedropper to coloring them.

For the body shadows, use Pen tool to create curve object like shown below.

Select the curve and the body then use Intersect to create curve from the overlap area. Coloring it with black.

Select the shadow. then use Transparency tool.

Step 25
Select tranparency type to Uniform then setting the opacity.

Step 26
Repeat step 23-26 to make shadows in other side.

Step 27
For the bracelet/ band, use step 16-17 with line then Smart fill. Coloring with black, and use Transparency tool.

Step 28
For the head shadow, create an ellipse like shown below like previous step, Smart Fill, coloring with black, then use Transparency tool.

Step 29
Use same way for the bracelet shadows.

THE SWORD

Create a rectangle like below. Adjust the Corner radius to make the corner rounded.

Create another rectangle with rounded corner like below.

For the handle, create copied rectangles like below.

Coloring the sword and group them.

Rotate the sword, copy it, then Mirror horizontally.

Bring the swords to back of layers (Shift+PgDn)

For the shadows, create an elipse like below.

Use Drop shadow tool.

Break shadow group appart with Ctrl+K and bring it to back of layers (Shift+PgDn). You are done!
